ARENA-PAC is a new project funded by APIDT (Asia-Pacific Internet Development Trust). Currently, it has a 100GE link between Tokyo and Guam so that research and education community in Japan may able to communicate the counterpart in Guam, Hawaii, Australia, and New Zealand at the least delay time. It also has a plan to expand the link from Guam to Phillipines and Indonesia. It will collaborate SARENA-PAC Project which is to fully use of satellite technology to cover the area where terrestrial connectivity is not great enough.
